A great opportunity exists for members to help shape agricultural policy for both our organisation and industry more generally by nominating to be a non-executive director of AIA.
Taking on a role as a director on the board is a wonderful opportunity to engage with and work alongside fellow passionate and committed members and contribute to the development and future of your Institute. Our directors come from a diverse range of backgrounds – including public and private sector, academics, and researchers and across the breadth of agriculture and natural resource management. New directors will be appointed at the Annual General Meeting in May this year.
To broaden its current professional experience and skill set, the board is particularly looking to add directors with knowledge and networks in agricultural and natural resource management science.
A nominations form and skills matrix should be completed and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by close of business Friday 6 April 2018.
Further information can be sought from AIA National Office on email@example.com or the Company Secretary, Chaseley Ross on 0409 707 806.
The AIA board has a commitment to gender, age, geographic and professional diversity.
