AACC Course Guide opens the door to a new career.

Comprehensive, informative and sporting a fresh new look, the Course Guide for the Australian Agricultural College Corporation (AACC) is set to become an agricultural Bible for students eager to pursue a career on the land.

Available now, the guide presents a helpful overview of courses across the five AACC campuses and College Director Mr Malcolm McKay said it proved the perfect complement to the AACC website.

“Effectively, the Course Guide is more a part of a package than just a stand alone publication,” Mr McKay said. “The Guide provides practical information and course details from the various campuses and will give students a useful insight into college life. But, in addition to this, the accompanying DVD (included with each guide) will offer a visual representation of the AACC’s outstanding facilities and footage of some of the training students will undertake during their enrolment."

Mr McKay said the 24-page, full-colour guide would give potential Ag students, and their parents, a quality reference tool that would simplify the decision-making process.

“The Guide is exactly that – a guide. You can see a printed summary of AACC courses and activities and get a broad brushstroke of what we do. But it then becomes a valuable resource when used with the AACC website where you can gather a more in-depth explanation of course requirements and further details about career study options.”

Mr McKay said the AACC is proving the courses on offer are in line with industry needs with statistics showing 95% of full-time residential students gaining employment within three months of graduating.

A full copy of the current Course Guide is available for download on the AACC website www.aacc.edu.au as well as key competency units available at each campus, a breakdown of each campus and more information about gaining an exciting career supporting the agricultural industry.
